The jewel in the crown at Portmarnock Links is the Championship Golf Course. This was the first golf course that International Management Group (IMG) developed in Ireland, and it opened in 1995. Bernhard Langer was chosen to design his first links course here, which was entirely apt as he was a three-time winner of the Carroll’s Irish Open when it was held at the nearby Portmarnock and The Royal Dublin Golf Clubs in the 1980s. Set in the grounds of the old Jameson Estate of St. Marnocks, the course has played host to professional and amateur events including the 2008 and 2009 Ladies Irish Open and is a fitting challenge for golfers of all abilities.

This beautiful estate is located a mere 15-minutes from Dublin Airport and some wonderful surrounding golf clubs and is only a 20minute drive to central Dublin.
