The 111 bedrooms have a variety of boutique themes from Heritage to Contemporary. All bedrooms benefit from 55” interactive television systems, pillow-top mattresses, Wi-Fi, laptop-friendly safes, mineral water and tea/coffee making facilities, individually controlled air conditioning and climate control, 24-hour room service, stocked mini bar and trouser press. Deluxe Rooms have bold fabrics and wall coverings with different ambiances created through the clever use of color, textile patterns, and bespoke art. Executive Rooms are decorated in delicate tones and fabrics creating a wonderfully relaxed ambiance. Boutique Queen Rooms favor deep-buttoned headboard, antique four-poster beds, metallic and deep jewel textures and colors creating a strong style; these rooms have great views over the Dublin mountains. Luxury Suites enjoy hand-painted wallpapers and beautiful jacquard fabrics with rich jewel tones. All of the bedrooms have a strong identity and are still very much in keeping with your surroundings.

Dining is a celebration of modern Irish cuisine at Clontarf Castle. The Fahrenheit Restaurant is set within the original 12th-century castle walls and has striking wooden beams, stained glass windows, and paneled walls all perfectly showcasing the unique features of this beautiful castle. The restaurant has been awarded two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence and the chef’s source the best of local artisan produce to showcase Ireland at its best.

The Indigo Lounge is a great fun space. Red chandeliers, glitz and a lot of glamour combine to make this area one of the most popular in the hotel. With its outdoor terrace and backdrop of the ivy-draped walls of the castle, this is the perfect place to enjoy your favorite tipple or al fresco dining.

Warm leather banquettes, classic upholstered booths, open fireplaces, and ornate pitched ceilings set the scene of the Knight’s Bar. A beautiful room, it offers gastro-style food and drink where the firm favorites are Braised Wicklow lamb, slow-cooked in a rich lamb broth, served with Chantenay carrots and pearl barley. Homemade scones and parsley butter, Prime Rib burgers made to order, and lighter options such as Signature Sandwiches and mouth-watering salads can also be enjoyed. To complement the food, craft beer is a specialty in Knights Bar, with an extensive menu featuring Clontarf Castle’s pale ale – appropriately named Cluain Tarbh, Clontarf’s original name in Irish, and made by local brewers The Five Lamps Brewery, on offer.

The Clontarf Castle Hotel is only 5 miles from Dublin Airport, located in a tranquil coastal setting, surrounded by fabulous golf courses and the lapping waters of the Irish Sea. The Royal Dublin Golf Club is only 2 miles away, and you can also access Portmarnock and The Island Golf Club within 20 minutes.
