The Jury’s family have been operating hotels in Ireland and latterly the UK for over 100 years, but the Belfast property, the first in the UK has been in operation since 1997. Recently refurbished, the hotel now has 270 very comfortable en-suite bedrooms at its site on Great Victoria Street in the heart of the city a mere 2 minutes-walk from Belfast City Hall and adjacent to the Grand Opera House. The bar and restaurant at the Jury’s Inn Belfast has also been updated with a vibrant and colorful interior. A great space to enjoy a drink or snack, the restaurant is where breakfast and dinner are served daily, from 06:45 am and 6 pm respectively. The bar has an excellent range of local brews as well as more well-known international brands, and there are two large screens available for any sports fans to catch-up with their favorite teams.

The hotel is ideally located for anyone looking to explore the city. As mentioned, Belfast City Hall is a very short walk away, with the award-winning St. George’s Market only a ten-minute stroll from the property, where an artisan food and gift market is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The main shopping street in Belfast, Royal Avenue runs perpendicular from City Hall where all major international brands can be found, and it also leads to Victoria Square where many designer brands and stores are. When in Belfast, a Black Taxi Tour is a great way to explore the history of Belfast in a short timeframe that will include an overview of the ‘Troubles,’Titanic and also how the city became one of the industrial capitals of the UK at the turn of the last century.
