The estate is made up of three properties – Hawkswood House, The Roundel and Bowhill Bed & Breakfast which can be booked individually or to supplement Hawkswood House and The Roundel. For large groups, the entire estate can be reserved which can cater to twenty-eight guests across fourteen bedrooms.
Hawkswood House was the first five-star exclusive use self-catering property to open in the area, in the summer of 2014. The luxury holiday property has five bedrooms, to sleep up to ten guests in exquisite luxury. The Roundel was the second property that joined the family in March 2016. Using the same levels of quality and luxury as Hawkswood, this cozy, private property can also sleep up to ten guests. Hawkswood House and The Roundel has its own private Hydro Spa, all year-round private short golf game area, access to a 270-yard golf driving range and a Mediterranean-style barbecue patio area. Bowhill Bed and Breakfast is situated directly opposite Hawkswood House and The Roundel offering four ensuite super king/zip and link bedrooms.
Full Scottish breakfast is available to guests, and a private chef can be booked to cater in any of the properties, helping to create an enjoyable private dining experience. This is the ultimate golfer’s paradise. The short game area at Hawkswood House was designed and professionally built to provide the perfect practice area for honing those aspects of your game. The course has five pitching mats, six holes, and two bunkers, providing a wide range of lies and distances. This offers the opportunity to practice a variety of shots in the comfort of your surroundings.
The Roundel Short Game Area which opened in May 2017 has three pitching mats, nine holes, and two bunkers. The private 270-yard driving range project is open for all residents to use which again is private and exclusive for guests staying at Hawkswood Country Estate.
Hawkswood Estate also offers the services of Gregor Wright as its preferred teaching PGA Professional. Gregor completed his PGA Foundation Degree in 2015, finished 9th in the 2015 Titleist Trainee of the Year award for Europe, and is based at Ladybank Golf Club (No 58 in the 2017 Golf World Top 100 Courses).
The estate has also teamed up with Stuart Barton Physiotherapy. Stuart has an outstanding record of achievement from being the Scotland international rugby team’s chief physiotherapist to treating many high-profile professional sportsmen and women. Stuart will personally provide physio services for guests which include spinal manipulation to acupuncture – something which may come in hand after a week on the links’ of Scotland!
