The historic town of Deal has an abundance to offer tourists with many landmark buildings, and you can view some of England’s best castles which have helped to protect the shores for centuries nearby. Deal Pier is a local landmark which offers mesmerizing views of the seafront and Deal Castle. The latter is an iconic showpiece built during the reign of Henry VII that encorporates an elaborate shape that, when viewed from the air can be identified as the shape of a Tudor rose.

Royal St George’s Golf Club, the host of the 2011 Open Championship, is a mere 4.5miles from the hotel and is regarded as one of the world’s very best links courses. The Royal St George’s has an extensive range of facilities for both amateur and professional golfers alike from an open-air driving range to Pro Shop. Close by is also the Walmer & Kingstown Golf Club offering stunning views of the English Channel and surrounding villages from the White Cliffs of Dover in Kingstown.
