The Lodges at Prince’s lie at the entrance to Prince’s Golf Club on the southeast coast of England, a short drive from the Royal St. Georges and Princes Golf Clubs and consists of 2 adjoining Lodge houses. There are 38 bedrooms in total including two beautiful Bay & Links Suites, and they provide the perfect base for exploring this coast and playing its magnificent golf courses.
For links lovers, this is the ideal base what with being only a 2-hour drive from Central London and with excellent rail connections too. It is also within easy reach of all London train terminals as well as Gatwick and Heathrow airports. The Lodges are also only 45 minutes away from Folkestone and the Channel Tunnel.
There are 12 bedrooms across two floors. Complimentary Wi-Fi, large double or twin beds, baths or shower rooms and club storage are available as standard. There are also two accessible rooms along with two interconnecting rooms ideal for groups. These rooms make your stay feel like a real home away from home.
‘The Links’ is an excellent example of the luxurious room offering at The Lodge not only inside but also outside as it boasts unrivaled views across the course at Prince’s. Located on the 1st floor, it overlooks the 5th green of the Shore Course. Facilities include a private dining area, a large lounge and king-sized bed set back in its own private space as well as a sofa bed.
Finally, the apartments are modern designed accommodations providing the ideal space for groups. Facilities include a golf club storage area, battery recharging, complimentary Wi-Fi, tea/coffee making facilities, a lounge with Plasma TV, two ensuite rooms and stunning views.
The Lodges feel more like a luxurious hotel than individual units, especially as they are complimented with by a 2 AA Rosette Star Restaurant, a Lounge Bar, Sun Terrace, Snooker Room, Gym/Sauna and Steam Room.
Dining at Prince’s serves up a variety of options for visiting golfers. ‘The Brasserie’ is a 2 AA Rosette Restaurant offering 1st class service and local menus. In addition to the Brasserie, you will find the cozy ‘Lounge & Bar’ with a wide selection of drinks and cocktails to compliment the menu in the Brasserie. There is a beautiful terrace to dine and soak up the views on offer. The Princes Suite is located on the 1st floor of the Clubhouse and provides panoramic views over Sandwich Bay to the white cliffs of Ramsgate. The Spike Bar is the perfect stop off for a quick snack before, after, or in between your round where favorites include homemade Eccles cakes or the full 18 English breakfast. Finally, there is the ‘Lodge Lounge and Terrace’ which provides for a beautiful and ideal setting for your favorite tipple and relax.
