The Dean Dublin

It would be fair to say that The Dean, Dublin, is not your average city hotel. This incredibly sleek, modern and quirky property was formed out of a terrace of Georgian townhouses. It is good to note that The Dean is right in the middle of the heart of Dublin’s vibrant nightlife and is surrounded by clubs and live music venues, so there is always a lively atmosphere, no matter what time of day or year!

The hotel’s exterior does not reflect its interior, with a dark, uncompromising first impression, but it works perfectly with the stark contrast to the burst of retro American style interior.

The boutique bedrooms are uniquely designed and different to anything you will likely have experienced before with fifty-two rooms in total on offer. Each bedroom is equipped with large ‘bouncy’ beds, super soft linens and fluffy pillows. Guests can enjoy power showers, unique works of Irish art, Marshall amps and turntables, Samsung televisions with Netflix, a fully stocked mini SMEG fridge, Grafton Barber products and lots of snacks; there are even hot water bottles for those cooler nights. Choose from the ModPod, PunkBunk, Superoom, HiFi, Suites and The Penthouse.

For food and drink, you can enjoy Sophie’s, the hotel’s rooftop restaurant, bar and terrace overlooking Harcourt Street with a 360-degree view of Dublin city and its forever changing landscape. Here you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a top-notch brunch at the weekends. The menu combines international and Irish flavors perfectly. There is also an excellent cocktail menu which you can enjoy under a cozy blanket beside the outdoor heaters to enjoy the stunning views on offer. Sophie’s is transformed after dark into a vibrant bar, and when the sun sets and Dublin lights up, the views from this rooftop bar are stunning. The Dean Bar on the ground floor of the hotel which serves a delicious all-day food menu and cocktails. This area is lively in the evening with live music on offer also, and its presence in the lobby area only adds to the funky nature of the Dean.

Located in Harcourt Street, the hotel is only a few minutes’ walk from St. Stephen’s Green, Grafton Street and Temple Bar making in ideal to soak up the atmosphere of Dublin’s hotspots and a grand final night base to wind down a great golf vacation in Ireland.
