The Consummate Pro is honored to be able to support, and be associated with, the “Folds of Honor.” The Folds of Honor was established in 2007 by Major Dan Rooney, a PGA Professional and F-16 Fighter Pilot who had served two tours to Iraq. On his return home, the repatriation of one of the fallen struck a particular chord with Major Rooney, and he set about creating a way of honoring the sacrifices made to preserve his and others freedoms. The Folds of Honor is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the families of the fallen.

Offering two kinds of scholarship programs;
The foundation offers two kinds of scholarship programs; a Children’s Fund Scholarship that assists Kindergarten to 12th-grade students, and a Higher Education Scholarship for those seeking a first bachelor’s degree or certification at a post-secondary institution and this latter assistance is available to both spouses and dependents of service members. Since inception, the foundation has awarded over 20,000 scholarships, amounting to nearly $20million in support.
A meeting at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla. sparked a conversation that in turn led to the partnership. We at the Consummate Pro are delighted to be able to assist the foundation in raising much-needed funds by using the game of golf, and golf travel to help bring about a positive change in the lives of those family members left behind.
