Set in 530 acres of land, just four miles from the center of town, the Fairmont St Andrews is a luxurious 211-bedroom resort with a unique and magical setting about it. There are also, Executive Suites, Deluxe Suites, Junior Suites and Studio Suites available, so you are not going to be stuck for options at the Fairmont.

Diners at The Fairmont St. Andrews are spoilt for choice especially with La Cucina, the Italian and Mediterranean eatery within the resort. The restaurant has a relaxed and informal feeling offering excellent quality food. The eclectic menu is due to the influence of the resort’s surroundings and in particular from St. Andrews Bay. The chef uses the very best of locally sourced fresh ingredients in the creation of the menus. Next is Kittocks Den, named from the old Scottish tongue meaning ‘flighty lady.’ It is also the name of the historic site that runs through the estate in the form of a deep ravine, which is home to the estate’s population of deer. Kittocks Den offers casual dining and bar snacks along with an outstanding offering of single malts, cocktails, and spirits.

The Squire Restaurant named after Gene’ The Squire’ Sarazen, the golfing legend and past winner of the grand slam of golf, is where the breakfast buffet is served each morning. This is a real royal feast including local haggis, crispy bacon, fluffy pancakes, eggs anyway and of course an array of continental offerings also.
For something completely different why not try Scotland’s only Vegan/Vegetarian sports bar with a modern and fresh twist – Zephyr Sports Bar. With six large screens, this is the perfect location for sports fans to enjoy beers, cocktails and a large variety of beverages. The sharable vegan/vegetarian platters offer up a delightful alternative. There is also darts, pool and foosball to get your competitive juices flowing.

Finally, is St Andrew’s Bar & Grill, serving traditional golfer fayre by day and the finest Scottish steak and seafood at night again showcasing the very best of local produce. The Fairmont St. Andrews also includes two Championship golf courses; The Torrance and The Kittocks. Designed by Sam Torrance, the Par 72, 7,230yard Torrance course is a Scottish links-style design with classic Scottish revetted bunkers and generous greens. The Kittocks Course’s original designer was Bruce Devlin with assistance from Gene Sarazen and is a par 72, 7,192yard test. The Kittocks boasts some of the most beautiful holes in Scottish golf as the course hugs the dramatic Fife coastline.

If you fancy indulging in a bit of relaxation, the state-of-the-art Fairmont Spa is the place to go. With ten luxurious rooms offering a range of treatments, there truly is something for everyone to unwind.
