Champneys own Eastwell Manor, the UK’s original health spa people and the property lives up to their very high reputation. There are 76 bedrooms in total on the property. The Eastwell Mews, Eastwell Mews Suites, Shepherd’s Hut, Classic Manor Rooms, Superior Rooms, Luxe Rooms, and Deluxe Suites form the room stock.
The Shepherd’s Hut provides an excellent example of the standard of accommodation to be expected at Eastwell. These snug escapes can be found located in the grounds of Eastwell Manor overlooking the North Down’s. Within the Shepherd’s Hut is a double bed, small sofa bed, bathroom, small kitchen, mini-fridge, sink, 32” TV, cotton towels, robes, and flip flops and of course the renowned Champneys toiletries.
If you would prefer to be located within the main body of the hotel, there are the beautiful Manor Rooms. These are all individually named and decorated, keeping the character and history of the original house. All boast a double or twin bed with en-suite bathrooms, 28” TVs, Nespresso machines, tea & coffee facilities, cotton towels, robes and flip flops and of course, Champneys toiletries.
The Manor Restaurant is the hotel’s main dining space with a menu that focuses on traditional English dishes with a twist of modern European cuisine. All ingredients used are locally sourced and produced, and there is a sophisticated wine list to match perfectly.
There is also a Spa Restaurant which cleverly combines healthy eating with healthy living, very much in line with the Champneys ethos of healthy living. Here there is a focus on tasty, calorie tempered, light lunches.
The Lounge Bar is a cozy, relaxed setting to enjoy your favorite tipple. There is an impressive selection of beverages and cocktails that can all be consumed and experienced with the backdrop of stunning North Down’s views. The Estate has been awarded two AA Rosettes for culinary excellence. The overall focus on food is to create nostalgic classics reminiscent of a beautiful London restaurant but with the advantage of being surrounded by a stunning landscape.
The Champneys’s Spa facilities are incredible with high specification facilities and treatments on offer. Facilities include a 20-meter heated indoor swimming pool, Aqua Fit classes and swimming lessons. There is a sauna and hydrotherapy pool, relaxation beds with wrap around curtains if you prefer ultimate privacy. There are 20 relaxation rooms which possess views for miles of countryside creating the ultimate spot for relaxation.
There is also a nine-hole golf course on site which is perfect for leisurely rounds, and the course is always beautifully manicured. There is also a putting green for practice.
In the summer months, you can enjoy the 20-meter outdoor pool, and other activities including falconry, hiking, garden games, and tennis.
